A Portable Gamecube For Resident Evil 4 On The Go
I love portable gaming systems. My Gameboy Advance SP goes everywhere with me and I’m dying to get my hands on a Nintendo DS. So the idea of a Portable Gamecube is like a dream for me that I don’t think I’ll ever see come true. Enter this forum post showing pictures of a homemade Portable Gamecube! Called the GCp by it’s creator, it appears to be the innards of a Gamecube with the controller disassembled and attached to a homemade case with a built in LCD Screen. The GCp runs on rechargeable batteries and it looks to be pretty portable.
While the GCp seems somewhat primitive from the pictures that are in the forum post, it definitely looks like it works. The maker says that it took him about 2 weeks to make the GCp and that he is considering selling them!
Nintendo should definitely take a look at this and consider the possibility of making a portable Gamecube. Just imagine being able to play Resident Evil 4 anywhere — the pictures of the GCp running Resident Evil 4 make me drool!
