Blogcritics has a review of Alien Hominid for the Gamecube.

Alien Hominid is a unique game that is both a throwback to the days of 2-D shooters and something new for console games — a game that started life as a simple Macromedia Flash web game and ended up being ported to multiple gaming consoles.

The Blogcritics review compares Alien Hominid to old school 2-D shooters like Contra and Metal Slug. Although the reviewer thinks the game is a case of style over substance, the overall review is very positive.

Hopefully, we will see more original flash games go this route — in fact, you can still play the original flash version of Alien Hominid along with many others at Newgrounds
