Donkey Konga Cheats and Codes
Donkey Konga is another game in the tradition of unique and unusual games for the Gamecube. With a wacky jungle music theme and bongos for controllers, there is no other game like this for the Gamecube. Plus, if you like Monkeys and Apes, you just can’t go wrong with Donkey Konga! So when the musical notes are flying by too fast and you need some help, here are some cheats and codes for Donkey Konga:
Mess With The Title Screen
When first starting Donkey Konga and the title screen comes up, if you clap while it is on screen you can mess with the letters in the Press Start Button message and move them around.
Always Hit The Right Bongo For Every Note
It’s easy to always hit the right bongo. Just hit both bongos every time a barrel note appears on screen. Whether it is pink, red, or yellow, it doesn’t matter — just hit both bongos at the same time for every barrel and it will register as the correct bongo hit every time.
Get Mega Coins On Drum Rolls
By clapping through drum rolls you can get alot of coins. But if you really want to get mega coins on every drum roll, all you have to do is whistle or blow into the sensor on the bongos. This will appear to the game as if you were clapping super fast and you will be rewarded with tons of coins.
Save Time On Claps For Faster Songs
On alot of the faster songs, if you take your hands off the bongos to clap, you will have a hard time catching up with the music because of the time lost to take your hands on and off the bongos. Instead of clapping you can save time and just snap your fingers or even just make a short sound like a yelp. This will save the time lost when you remove your hands from the bongos to clap and help to keep you on beat with the song.
