Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance Gets Release Date

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance for the Gamecube now has a definite release date of October 17th, 2005 here in the US.

Part of the Fire Emblem RPG series, here in the US most gamers only know of the Game Boy Advance Version, although there have been many more incarnations. Path of Radiance is basically the inevitable 3d makeover of the Game Boy Advance version of the game.

Hopefully this will mark the beginning of Nintendo releasing more RPGs here in the US that so far have only been released in Japan. I’m not sure if they have tried releasing RPGs here in the past that have failed or they just have marketing studies that indicate that US gamers have no interest in RPGs, but they should definitely start releasing these games here. If these RPGs are as good as so many of the reviews say, I would think they would be a huge success here in the US.
