Nintendo Dream magazine (a japanese Nintendo magazine) has published an interview with Nintendo Master Shigeru Miyamoto in which he talks about the possibility of remakes of some Gamecube games coming to the Wii. The magazine and the interview are both in Japanese (there’s a google translated version of Nintendo Dream here) but the basic statement by Miyamoto is that he sees value in remaking Gamecube games for the Wii. Not only will the Wii controller add a new dimension to these games but they should also be easy to port to the Wii. The Wii hardware is based on the Gamecube and alot of Gamecube code can run with minimal changes on the Wii.

What Gamecube games do you think should be remade for the Wii? I would love to see Super Monkey Ball remade for the Wii. The Wii controller would be great for controlling the monkey and it would definitely make the game more fun.
