Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life is a strange beast of a game — it’s actually a farming simulation. And in a way very similar to Animal Crossing, it succeeds as a highly enjoyable and playable game. Control Your Weather

If you don’t like your weather, change it! If you go to your TV and turn on the Weather Channel, then change to another channel, then change back to the Weather Channel, the weather forecast will change. Keep doing this until you get a weather forecast that you like and then turn the TV off and this will be your weather.

Train Your Cows for Milking

It will be easier to milk your cows if you get them trained for the process. If you buy the milk room and put your cows in it for a few days in a row, after a while they will start going into the milk room on their own.

Get Some Sleep Without Losing Any Time

If you need to get some sleep but don’t want to lose any time out of your day, all you have to do is bring up your diary and choose to sleep. When asked, save your game and then after it is finished saving your game, reset your Gamecube. After you restart your game and load the game you just saved, you will start off right before you went to sleep but you will be fully rested.

Call Your Horse

Anytime you are outside and want your horse to come to you, just press the R shoulder button twice and your horse will come to your side.

Put An End To Those Rainy Days

Anytime it’s rainy out and you want to make it stop, all you have to do is enter a mine and do some digging. When you come out of the mine, it will have stopped raining.

Get the Seed Maker for Free

To get the Seed Maker for free, you need to befriend the Scientist by giving him presents. In response to your gifts, he will give you the Seed Maker for free at the beginning of the second year.

How to Get a Cat

To get a cat, you will have to become friends with Romana. Then, during the fall of the second chapter, wake up after your wife. Romana will then give you the cat and you can name it.
