Ubisoft announced today that Peter Jackson’s King Kong - The Official Game of the Movie has gone gold for the Nintendo Gamecube. In addition, the game will also be available for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC.

Ubisoft has worked closely with Peter Jackson to make this game a very accurate version of the movie, due out December 14. The game is set on Skull Island and gameplay will alternate between gamers playing as Jack Driscoll and King Kong!

Peter Jackson’s King Kong - The Official Game of the Movie is scheduled to be released in North America on November 22 with a manufacturers suggested retail price of $49.99.
