Luigi’s Mansion Cheats and Codes
Luigi’s Mansion for the Gamecube is the first starring role in a game for Mario’s infamous plumber brother. In the game, Luigi has a new home that he won in a contest. Unfortunately, it’s an eerie Mansion that is haunted and full of ghosts. Equipped with just a flashlight and a vacuum cleaner, Luigi must eliminate his new home of all it’s unwanted guests. To help Luigi get rid of the ghosts, here are some Cheats and Codes for Luigi’s Mansion for the Nintendo Gamecube.
Unlock the Entire Gallery
To unlock everything in the gallery, all you have to do is complete the entire game once.
Grow a Diamond Plant
To grow a plant that eventually will bear a diamond, first water the seed that is on the right side of the graveyard under the balcony. Next, enter the dog house and defeat the second boss. Go back and water the seed again and then defeat the third boss. After beating the third boss, water the seed again and soon it will bloom and you will have a diamond.
Find Mario’s Stuff
Scattered throughout the game is some of Mario’s own stuff. To find it, just look in the following locations:
- Mario’s Shoe is located in the Twins Room
- Mario’s Cap can be found in the Laundry Room
- Mario’s Star is in the Observatory
- Mario’s Letter is found in the Courtyard
- Mario’s Glove is in the Projection Room
Find the Secret Treasure Rooms
There are two Secret Treasure Rooms in Luigi’s Mansion. The first one can be found by first sucking up the candle carrying butler with Luigi’s vacuum and then finding a mousehole with your Game Boy Horror. Activate the mousehole by pressing the A button and then enter the treasure room.
The second secret treasure room can be found by using the elevator in the toy chamber to get to the roof. Climb up the chimney and then fall down and you will land in the second secret treasure room.
Transport Luigi Directly to the Main Entrance of the Mansion
While standing in front of a mirror, switch your Game Boy Horror to first person mode and press the A button and you will be sent directly to the main entrance hall of the mansion.
