For those of us who don’t remember, there once was a Nintendo Breakfast Cereal. Here’s the commercial:


I think this commercial was actually made in 1989 and included Mario, Zelda and other characters from those Nintendo games. At one point during the commercial, I think I actually heard them call it the Nintendo Breakfast Cereal System!

It’s scary sometimes how we market to kids. There is no way this cereal was nutritious (I’m sure it was all sugar like every other kids cereal) yet we ate it anyways. Cmon, who doesn’t want to start there day off right by eating Mario, Link and Zelda!
