Super Mario Sunshine Cheats and Codes
Super Mario Sunshine is Nintendo’s entry in the Mario series of games for the Gamecube. Like every other Mario game ever made, it is an outstanding game (I don’t know how Nintendo does it!) Super Mario Sunshine is also made for everyone — easy to start but it gradually gets harder and harder. So for those more difficult parts of the game, here are some cheats and codes for Super Mario Sunshine on the Nintendo Gamecube.
See a Different Ending After The Credits
To get a different ending screen shown after the credits, just collect 120 Shine Sprites during the game.
Sprinkler Backflip Secret Move
To perform a Sprinkler Backflip Move, press the A button on the Gamecube controller while spraying water using the standard nozzle. Mario will perform a backflip and spray water everywhere.
Get Mario the Secret Nozzles
In Super Mario Sunshine, there are a couple of Secret Nozzles that can be unlocked:
- Turbo Nozzle - To unlock the Turbo Nozzle, you first have to unlock Yoshi and then collect 25 Shines.
- Rocket Nozzle - First, you will have to unlock the Turbo Nozzle and then collect 30 Shines.
Automatically Feed Yoshi
Yoshi needs to be fed fruit or his juice meter will run low and eventually he will run out of juice. If you want to leave Yoshi but not have him run out of juice you can have him feed automatically while you are gone. Just leave Yoshi close to any fruit and he will automatically eat it when the juice meter gets low.
Get Lots of Coins and Lives
While travelling through some of the levels in the game, you will see what look like nails sticking up from the ground. Have Mario jump on these nails and pound them three times and you will be rewarded with either a free life or a coin.
Get Yoshi
Yoshi is a recurring character in many of the Mario games and he’s back in Super Mario Sunshine. But to get Yoshi, you have to unlock him first by completing episode four of Pinna Park.
