Even though Nintendo says they will never make a feature length Legend of Zelda movie, fans have decided to take matters into their own hands and make a Zelda movie of their own. The Legend of Zelda: Hero of Time is the title for this fan made film that has been in the making for two years! According to the Legends and Adventure website, they even list David Blane as one of the producers of the film. Is this David Blane the Magician? That alone might get some publicity for the film.

After watching the trailer, I’m impressed. While it’s definitely not a high budget Hollywood production, The Legend of Zelda: Hero of Time appears to be very well made for a “fan film”. It’s apparently just about done, with only CGI and Animation left to be completed. I, for one, am looking forward to viewing the full film.
